If I change my menu, do I reprint the QR codes?
Never. A printed code keeps pointing at your menu, whatever you change.
Do my guests need an app?
No. They scan the QR with the phone's camera and the menu opens in the browser.
What about guests who can't or won't scan?
Most guests already scan with the phone's camera, and the menu opens even on slow data. Your Wi-Fi details can sit at the top of the menu. For anyone without a phone, keep one or two paper menus.
Which languages can my menu use?
Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, Tigrinya (ትግርኛ) and English, on every plan. The Business plan will add 10 more popular languages in a dropdown.
What if the network is slow?
Menus are built light, so they open on slow 3G and older Android phones.
I have no photos of my dishes. Is that a problem?
No. Start with our photos of Ethiopian dishes, or with no photos at all, and add your own later.
Can you set up my menu for me?
Yes, with you. Send a photo or PDF of your paper menu to us on Telegram. We set it up, you check the prices, then you go live.
How do I pay?
By Telebirr or bank transfer after your 15 free days. We confirm it and you keep going.
What happens after the 15 free days?
Your dashboard reminds you 3 days before. Guests keep seeing your menu for 7 more days while you decide. After that it stays readable for 30 days with a note that it isn't being updated, and you can't edit it. Pay by Telebirr or bank at any time and everything is back, with the same QR codes.
